Infinite Campus-
Parents can access students assignments, attendance, and grades through the Infinite Campus Portal. Parents are encouraged to contact the school office to get access to the online portal. Notifications can be setup for their son or daughters academic profile.

RAI Score-
Iowa high school graduates must achieve a Regent Admission Index (RAI) score of at least 245 and take the minimum number of required high school courses to qualify for automatic admission as freshmen to Iowa State University, the University of Northern Iowa, and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Iowa. Students who achieve a score less than 245 will be considered for admission on an individual basis.
The RAI combines factors that strongly predict success at the Regent Universities: ACT or SAT test score, high school rank, high school cumulative grade-point average, and the number of completed high school core courses.
There are two RAI formulas for computing students' RAI scores, the Primary RAI formula (for students whose high school provides class rank) and the Alternative RAI formula (for students whose high school does not provide class rank). Below is a detailed description of each formula:

College Connections-
This is our third year of partnering with Hawkeye Community College for CollegeConnections! Danielle Weber is part of the high school relations team at Hawkeye Community College, will be here every three weeks from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. to meet with students on topics such as admission processes, scholarships, Hawkeye concurrent classes, programs of study. Danielle will also answer any other questions or concerns that students might have. She is here to help any student with questions about any college, not just Hawkeye Community College. This is a great resources for Wapsie Valley students. Danielle will meet with every senior before the year is over and with other students by appointment.

Job shadowing allows students to explore career paths while spending time with a professional currently working in a specific industry.
Students will experience the work environment and day-to-day activities of the jobs they shadow. They will also learn about the skills and education needed for the job. Contact your work-based learning coordinator to assist in scheduling a job shadowing opportunity.
Business partners, have an opportunity to open their business to a potential future employee and share with them the ins and outs of a career in your industry. Engage the student in a professional environment and emphasize employability skills such as attendance, attire, and punctuality. To host a student for a job shadow opportunity at your business, contact a work-based learning coordinator.
